With "Click to Dial" you can dial numbers directly by clicking them in the Call List or the Telephone Book.

Set password

For security reasons, Click to Dial can be enabled only if the FRITZ!Box is password-protected. To define a password for the FRITZ!Box, click the "Set password (recommended)" link and follow the instructions on the screen.

Use Click to Dial

Enable this setting if you want to dial numbers by clicking in the Call List or the Telephone Book.
Then all you have to do to dial a number is to click the entries with numbers displayed in blue and pick up the handset of your telephone. The telephone connection will be established.
Alternatively, do not pick up the handset immediately. Then your line will ring as soon as the party called picks up his or her handset. The party called will hear a waiting signal until you pick up the handset of your telephone.

Connect using the phone

Select from this list the telephone with which a telephone call should be placed using Click to Dial.

Test Phone

Click the "Test Phone" button to make sure that you have selected the right telephone for connections using Click to Dial.

Click the "Apply" button to implement your settings.
