RSS Feeds

With a FRITZ!Fon MT-D, the DECT telephone from AVM, you can receive RSS feeds and read them directly on the handset display. To do this, configure the desired RSS feeds here, which your FRITZ!Box then can retrieve from the Internet at regular intervals and make available for the FRITZ!Fon MT-D display.

In this overview a selection of RSS feeds have been preset. You can select additional preset RSS feeds from the drop-down menu for new RSS feeds. To configure new RSS feeds, work through the following steps:

  • In the drop-down menu of the new RSS feeds, select the entry "other RSS feed...".
  • Specify the name that should be used to display the RSS feed in the FRITZ!Fon MT-D.
  • Enter the Internet address at which the RSS feed can be reached in the Internet.
  • Define how often the RSS feed should be refreshed on the display of the FRITZ!Fon MT-D.
  • Also define whether FRITZ!Fon MT-D should notify you when new messages are received from this RSS feed. The telephone can signal the reception of new messages with a flashing LED and the MWI symbol in the display.
  • Confirm by clicking "OK".

To edit or remove RSS feeds, click the "Edit" or "Delete" buttons next to the given entry.
