Telephony Device Features

Enable convenience・and・performance features for your FRITZ!Mini on this page. Then save your settings by clicking "OK".

  • Listen in on answering machine
Enable this option if you would like to have messages broadcast over the FRITZ!Mini speaker as they are recorded on the integrated answering machine of the FRITZ!Box.
  • Vanity telephone book search
If you enable this option you have to press the numeric key only once for any letter. For instance, if you press the "5" key, all telephone book entries will be displayed that begin with "J", "K" or "L". The search results can be refined as needed by next pressing the numeric key for the second letter of the telephone book entry sought, and then for the third letter, and so on.
  • Calling line identification restriction (CLIR)
"CLIR" stands for Calling line identification restriction. When CLIR is enabled, the FRITZ!Mini will not transmit any number to the remote site during outgoing calls. Your telephone number is suppressed.
  • Call Waiting
When "Call Waiting" is enabled, you will be informed about additional incoming calls during a telephone conversation. An audio signal will interrupt your call to indicate that another call is waiting. You can then either accept the second call or ignore it.
  • Call rejection on busy (busy on busy)
If you receive a call for the assigned number while conducting a conversation with this FRITZ!Mini, the caller does not automatically hear a busy signal. If this caller should hear the busy signal, you have the following options:
  • Enable the function "Call rejection on busy (busy on busy)" and switch off the option "Call rejection on busy (busy on busy) determined by the terminal device.
