Call Blocking

Perform the following steps to configure Call Blocking for a telephone number or a range of telephone numbers:

  1. Select the kind of call for which you would like to configure a Call Block.
  2. Enter a range for which the block is to be configured.
  3. Click the "OK" button to implement your changes to the settings.

Additional Tips for Allocating Call Blocking

  • Type of call
  • The type of call determines whether a call block is set up for outgoing or incoming calls.

  • Number range
  • The number range indicates whether a call block is defined for a single number or for a range of numbers. Various ranges are preset in the FRITZ!Box.


    For outgoing calls, these are:
    • Numbers
    • Blocks a number or a number range entered in the "Number" field.

    • mobile telephone network
    • Connections to numbers of the ranges "017", "016" and "015" will be blocked.

    • Local area network
    • Local area network Connections to all numbers that begin with "2", "3", "4", "5", "6", "7", "8" and "9" will be blocked.

    • Long-distance calls
    • Connections to numbers of the "0" range will be blocked.

    • International
    • Connections to numbers of the "00" range will be blocked.

    • Premium numbers
    • Connections to numbers of the ranges "0900", "0190" and "0180" will be blocked.

    • Directory assistance
    • Connections to numbers of the "118" range will be blocked.


    For incoming calls, these are:
    • Numbers
    • Blocks a number or a number range entered in the "Number" field.

    • Without a number
    • All calls that do not transmit their number (anonymous calls) will be blocked.

  • Numbers
  • Field for entering a number or a number range.
